Video Channels to Watch


“The American Museum of Natural History is one of the world’s preeminent scientific and cultural institutions”  Founded in 1869, the Museum’s mission is to discover, interpret and disseminate information about human cultures, the natural world and the universe through programs based around scientific research, education and exhibition. This week’s selection, “CLARITY” gives a glimpse into a new research method that has been unlocked to look into the working brain of animals and humans.

TYT Investigates – NEW TYT Channel

And it is about time that we had some real investigative journalism back in the world.  With the USA’s crackdown on investigative reporters into major leaks within the White House and CIA, I was almost afraid that this would see an end to real journalism in the USA. “Who Took Down Stockton?,” looks at Stockton, California which is now the biggest city in USA history to file for bankruptcy.

NASA Television

NASA Television is a rich network of live feeds and videos on NASA funded projects and activities.  This must watch network for space enthusiasts brings you up to date on the well-being of our mechanical eyes in the sky and space exploration both private and government funded.  Find out what’s wrong with one of our favorite satellites, Kepler.  Kepler has been in orbit since 2009 and in the last four years has had a significant impact on our knowledge of and discoveries of the Universe.

Acguevara Channel

Acquevara channel is a support channel for Acillustrations.  They provide regular updates on the design, technology and engineering industry and offer graphic design services.  Watch their weekly Tech & Design updates to find provides an interesting window into the world of new inventions which may have appeared to once be futuristic but are becoming more of a reality.


QANDA or more popularly known as Q&A is a weekly television program presented by Australia’s Broadcasting Commission, a public access funded network.  “Q&A puts punters, pollies and pundits together in the studio to thrash out the hot issues of the week.”

Everyone can have a chance to ask a question about the weekly topic whether you are in the live studio audience, on twitter, or watching on television with access to their Internet site.

Q&A is all about democracy in action and with the Federal election for Australia coming up in September, the topics and guest speakers are going to start sizzling.

Watch this riveting hour broadcast in the state of Queensland “Where’s the Beef?” with panelists: Clive Palmer, Mining Magnate; Ged Kearney, President of the Australian Council of Trade Unions; Tim Nicholls, Queensland Treasurer; Larissa Waters, Queensland Greens Senator; and Bob Katter, Political maverick and Leader of Katter’s Australian Party.

The David Pakman Show

The David Pakman YouTube Channel provides highlights from their online subscriber broadcasts from their website. Membership to this independent news and opinion channel is worthy of opening your wallet though it may take a little while to get used to some of the dry humor.  Last week, we selected The David Pakman Show for their brief on Lightbulbs, this week we have them back with a short segment that looks at the news reporting from the recent tornado disaster zone, Moore in Oklahoma, USA where residents and media are taking on (or off) religion.
